Vintage Carnival Wedding

I am extremely excited to share with you my very first styled shoot which was styled by the amazing Kaleb Norman James Willis. Kaleb has such vision and talent that is going to take him so far. He designed all of the florals for our wedding which was also featured on Engaged and Inspired (part 2). Please be sure to click the links and check out Kaleb’s beautiful work!

After we decided Kaleb was going to be doing the florals for our wedding we decided that we needed to do some styled shoots together before he returned to his home in Seattle. Kaleb’s vision for this shoot was a vintage old world carnival wedding. He spent months collecting and crafting each carefully selected piece. From the flowers, to the mid 1800s Avon glassware, to the desserts bar, to the signs, every detail was thought out. I think it will be easy to see that Kaleb is a genius with all things wedding and design!

We had two amazing models, Kristy and Ryan, who were total troopers when the mosquitos started to flock to us. They did get plenty of delicious sweet treats although I’m not sure if that outweighs the bug bites? ;) I also owe a huge thank you to the lovely Dee Wood for allowing us to borrow one of her amazing vintage gowns for the shoot. It really looked perfect! And of course another ginormous thank you to Aubrey for doing a fabulous job on Kristy’s hair and make-up. She looked gorgeous!

And without further adieu here are the pictures:
