Jonathan and Clarissa got married in June of this year in a sweet church ceremony. Tim and I had just gotten back from our honeymoon and it was pretty much the busiest time of our lives so Jon and Clarissa’s blog post was put away for safe keeping until now. Going through the images again I’m reminded of what a genuine and truly sweet couple Jonathan and Clarissa are. They are definitely made for each other, complete each other, the whole nine. It was completely evident that they knew what was the most important part of their wedding day: the fact that they were becoming man and wife! I just love them! I bet they will make some adorable babies too! ;)
My favorite thing to photograph on a wedding day is the bride getting ready. There is just so much beauty to capture with my camera in those soft, quiet moments.

Handsome Jonathan.This car belongs to Clarissa’s father and is something of a prized possession of his. He had the honor of being Jonathan and Clarissa’s chauffeur after the wedding and we took the opportunity to take some photos inside of the car as well. Clarissa and her family made super cute book inspired decor. Each table was given an author’s name as opposed to a table number. I loved that idea! The flowers were simple, classic, and pretty. They used a figurine of lovebirds as a cake topper and expressed the importance they place on family by including their parents’ wedding photos on the cake table. I seriously adored their getaway looks! These guys are the total package: looks, style, and just the kindest, sweetest, coolest people you could know. Thank you so very much, Jonathan and Clarissa, for asking us to document your wedding day. You guys are truly the type of people we hope to have not only as clients in the future, but also as friends. Happy almost six month anniversary! Here’s to 80 more years!
