Los Angeles Ranch Wedding: Benj and Rocio

Benj and Rocio are the kind of couple that make you smile when you’re around them. They are so taken with each other and it is just beautiful to watch. Their wedding day was such a relaxed, peaceful day. Every detail was thought of and prepared for ahead of time so that the day could flow smoothly. It made being the photographer that much better since there was no rush or uncertainty, just total freedom to document a sweet couple on the day they became one. Their families surrounded them with love and that same happy calm energy. The location, Orcutt Ranch in West Hills Los Angeles, was gorgeous and old with beautiful gardens. Walking through the property it felt like we were suddenly not in Southern California anymore. It was a simply lovely day and we are so happy to have been a part of it!

Benj and Rocio chose to have a first look which was such a wonderful moment. I absolutely adore first looks which I can now say I have experienced first hand, having just got married recently myself. I know many couples are still just finding out about the first look and may be wary of them but I truly believe they add so much to the day. From my own experience it was so nice to see my husband, Tim, and to have a moment alone with him to just take each other in and soak up what we were experiencing. Our first look took away every bit of anxiousness I was feeling and even added to the moment when I saw my groom waiting for me at the end of the aisle. I highly reccommend it to every couple not only because it gives more time for pictures but also because I know first hand what an incredible moment it is.
